NOTE: I noticed that this video cuts off before the end. I'll be fixing that as well as trying to improve the quality a little bit. Check back later. –Mark

As far as I know, this is the only remaining video of the ‘77 Tigers. It was a black & white reel that Bonar got his hands on a few years after the season. I borrowed it and had it transferred to a VHS tape. I’ve since digitized it. It is the River game - a big one for us. The ninth game of the season and the game in which we clinched the OVAC conference championship.

Because of the size and length of the full video, I have edited it down to the highlights. It is also in slow motion. I had to do that because there was a strobe effect created in the VHS tranfer from film and plus it looked like it was sped up. It was like watching a Charlie Chaplin movie in a disco. The slow motion lessened those two issues. Plus, now it’s just easier to see what was goin on. Also, please excuse the cheezy NFL Films soundtrack. There was no actual audio. So, I thought what the hell.

Don’t be too disappointed in the quality. When you consider that it was shot on black and white film, played on a film projector while a VHS camcorder recorded it, then imported into a computer. Frankly, I’m surprised it is as watchable as it is. Technology has come a long way!
